Fans show R2Bees ‘love’ at Appreciation concert

September 14th of this year will mark a day R2Beese got very close to their die hard fans to say a BIG THANK for their support over the years.
Last Saturday evening, all roads led to Tema Sports Stadium for the long awaited R2Bees Appreciation free Concert sponsored by Vodafone Ghana and Star Beer.
It was a nice sight that every living member of the R2Bees was onstage together — Paedae, Mugeez, Criss Waddle, Ilnana, Humble and Under stood tall on stage.
R2Bees has had quite a year. Beginning with their successful “Da Revolution II” album, winning the topmost award at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013 and getting a nomination at BET Awards.
Gates were flung open at 8:00pm and within a few minutes, it was full house. A few minutes to 9:00pm, the night’s emcee, MC Coaches, sauntered onto the stage.
R2Bees  gave the chance to upcoming musicians to perform before they came on stage.
R2Bees members; iLNana, Humble Dis, Under and Criss Waddle hit the stage and got the hyped crowd even more enthusiastic before frontliners of R2Bees; Paedae, Killbeatz and Mugeez came on stage.
Paedae was clad in black stunners, a black jacket and black-pants whiles Mugeez looked cool in an Adidas track suit, Killbeatz looked simple in a singlet and jeans trouser. With all 3 on stage, the fans chanted in inexplicable excitement as they were all set on stage.
R2Bees simply chose to perform a few of their hits and got the audience’s full attention. R2Bees took the fans down memory lane with ”Yawa Girl. R2Bees swagger shone through the stage.
Mid way through their set, R2Bees had to tell the fans how they grew up and the formation of the group.
R2BEES is now definitely not record label but a movement.
A few well known Tema based artistes such as Dr. Cryme, Opanka, Ephraim, Ikonz and Vibz blessed the stage.
Coming all the way from Accra to supporttt was Ras Kuukuu, Edem, Eno, Chase, Dee Moneey, Ryan, Swag Kid and Ruff-N-Smooth.
