The African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) went down last night in Dallas, Texas with Nigeria’s Basketmouth hosting alongside Ann Kassime of Uganda.
One of the major highlights of the night was when the African Artiste of the year winner was announced. The crowd reacted surprisingly when top Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz defeated Nigeria’s Wizkid, Davido, Yemi Alade and Flavour to walk away with the coveted award.
Others in the category include, Bucie, Fally Ipupa, Eddy Kenzo, Cassper Nyovest and Sarkodie.
