KCEE, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid light up MTN Project Fame

Five Nigerian hip-hop artistes visited the on-going MTN Project Fame’s academy in Lagos last week and encouraged the contestants who are gradually going into the last stages of their stay, on the life-transforming melodious truth show.

They are Wizkid, KCEE of ‘Limpopo’ exponent, Iyanya, Tiwa Savage and Chidinma. They advised the contestants to aim for the top place as the show gets more exciting.

The artistes heard to various pieces of music rendered by the contestants, Immaculate, Simon, Niniola, Olawale, Johnny, Jimoh, David, Margaret, Nancy, good thing, Rowland and Omolayo.

On their outlooks about the show, the artistes were full of esteem for the contestants. Wizkid said ‘these contestants are really gifted and they will go locations while KCEE said, ‘it’s a good thing MTN is giving these gifted youths an opportunity to discover and get better, such that they can fulfill their aspirations for music-superstardom’.

All the 12 contestants in the academy were put on probation. The referees, Bibie Brew, Ade Bantu and music producer extraordinaire, TY-Mix, noted that all the contestants performed below anticipation. According to them,’ the stage is high at this grade of the competition and all contestants are expected to lift their game’.

The five contestants, Johnny, good thing, Jimoh, Nancy and David with the smallest number of votes were put on probation. They sang the same pieces of music that got them into probation, the previous week.

Nancy from Ghana and Johnny were later evicted from the MTN task good reputation West Africa time of the year 6 melodies academy.
